About us
The STOHQ Foundation Inc. is a nonprofit organization that supports fly fishing through funding initiatives that are directed toward angler outreach, industry support and environmental protection. The Foundation evolved from Scissortail Outfitters, which was an effort to bring back a full dedicated fly shop to Oklahoma City that would promote, educate and provide needed goods and services to the community. The driving force behind STO was Andrew McDougall, who was extremely passionate about fly fishing, the industry and the environment. He was stoked about everything fly fishing and was an active member and donator to countless organizations and raised funds to support the Bahamian fly fishing community after Hurricane Dorian. The fly shop might be on hold but Andrews passion for fishing and his desire to leave the world a better place for future anglers lives on through The STOHQ Foundation!
